TIñA DIP

As part of Speedy Wundergroud's plans to expand the label beyond one-off 7" releases, South London's Tiña have become the second ever band (after Black Country, New Road) to work on further releases with the innovative label. Following last year's 'I Feel Fine', which was released in Speedy's usual format, new tune 'Dip' is currently only available online. Featuring songwriter Josh Loftin's freakishly high falsetto vocals, Loftin's lyrics speak of anxiety and paranoia both in public and in the privacy of his own home. Set against a backdrop of chugging guitar chords, organ-y synth sounds and busy bass lines, the track's infectious chorus line "but the buses are all full, at night time with people" feels both euphoric and timeless.
